The Riverview Café and Wine Bar has deep roots in the Longfellow community. In 1999, one year after opening the Riverview Café, Mara and David Bernick bought the former home of Crane Drug Store. The 1908 building still retains the vibrant storefront character, with a wide patio area in front that encourages gathering in warm weather. Situated across the street from Mother Earth Gardens and the historic Riverview Theater, the café and wine bar form a neighborly destination. Come in for tea before a matinee, a coffee to keep your hands warm while Christmas Tree shopping, or for wine and dinner after the evening movie. With the beautiful River Road just blocks away, we make a perfect stop after a run or walking the dog. However you enjoy the neighborhood, be sure to stop in and say hi.
